Innovative Mine Support Systems
On April 15, 2026, MERCUS Logistyka had the pleasure of organizing a presentation on modern solutions for mine roadway support.
The event was aimed at experts from KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. responsible for mine support operations and focused on CO-MESH® brand high-strength polyester mesh and insulation liners, along with the necessary accessories.
The technology presented has been proven and patented in global markets. The system is used in applications such as:
- underground mining operations (hard coal, copper, zinc, and lead ores),
- slope and embankment stabilization and construction,
- insulation of goaf areas, as well as temporary support and anti-corrosion protection.
Constructive dialogue with experts
A presentation of technology provided by Patria—an industry leader employing a specialized engineering team—served as a forum for an intensive exchange of experience. Specialists from KGHM Polska Miedź S.A., responsible for the construction and securing of mine workings, actively participated in the discussion.
The meeting involved analyzing how solutions established in the coal mining sector could be adapted to the specific conditions of copper mines, where the technology had already undergone preliminary testing. This collaborative analysis will enable the system to be precisely tailored to the requirements of local deposits.

It was an exceptionally productive and substantive meeting. The constructive conclusions drawn from the discussion will undoubtedly pave the way for a series of future technology-focused meetings aimed at implementing solutions that enhance efficiency and safety within the Polish mining industry.
