This year’s MERCUSIADA was a truly special event—marking the 34th time we gathered to celebrate our company’s anniversary. This time, we took our employees and guests on an extraordinary journey to sunny Italy.
A unique atmosphere was palpable from the very start. The venue buzzed with activity as familiar faces greeted one another, and the air was filled with warm conversation and laughter while everyone awaited the official opening. Finally, the moment everyone had been anticipating arrived: the Company President, Mr. Andrzej Boczoń, and Vice President, Mr. Jan Taraciński, officially opened the event and extended a warm welcome to the attendees. Mr. Piotr Stryczek, Vice President of the Management Board for Corporate Affairs at KGHM Polska Miedź, also addressed the gathering with kind words, highlighting the vital role MERCUS Logistyka plays within the Group.
Following the formal proceedings, it was time to savor the true taste of Italy; guests were treated to a lunch styled as an Italian feast. Tables groaned under the weight of specialties that transported us straight to the heart of Italy.
But that wasn’t all! A packed program of attractions ensured there was never a dull moment. An acrobatic duo from the Avatar Theatre stirred up great excitement, performing a routine on a hoop that showcased the true magic of movement and balance. Guests also flocked to the Prosecco Wall, where glasses of sparkling wine awaited, while authentic Italian gelato from the Gelato Bar served as the perfect dessert.
As evening fell, the most dance-filled part of the event began, with the dance floor coming alive to the rhythms of Italo Disco. Italian hits got almost everyone dancing, and the participants’ energy and smiles lasted well into the night.
This year’s MERCUSIADA demonstrated the immense value of community—employees and guests alike had fun together, chatting, joking, and savoring the moment. It is precisely these moments that build bonds, foster integration, and make future gatherings so eagerly anticipated.
Everyone was of one mind: they simply cannot wait for next year’s milestone 35th MERCUSIADA!
